Living labs are households living in real-world conditions, in their own homes and who are committed to trial, learn, interact and share data with a research team on phenomena of interest. The iDODDLE project recruited households in and around Oxford to participate in the Living Lab and to help explore the role, use, and impacts of digitalised daily life.
Forty-one households (72 individuals) remained actively engaged throughout the three years of the living lab (2022 – 2025). Participants were invited to take part in three different types of data collection activities within the Living lab infrastructure.
