The small but growing community of ICT4S researchers working on sustainable applications of digital technologies met in the ancient city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, for their annual conference (after two years of enforced Covid-19 virtual meetings). Charlie Wilson travelled there (on increasingly rickety trains) to present work on the uptake of digital consumer innovations that could help tackle climate change.
