After winning a prize for her video production skills last month, Emilie Vrain from the iDODDLE team was invited to film one of the co-authors of ‘The Climate Book’ (Greta Thunberg’s latest publication), on his journey to the book launch at the Royal Festival Hall. The two of them cycled the 100km from Oxford to London with the hope to raise awareness of the huge challenge we face in decarbonising the way we move by using the most energy-efficient and low-carbon form of transport available today: the humble bicycle.
Although the mode of transport was not digital, Emilie used ‘digital devices’ (GoPro and smartphone) to capture the day’s events. Given the wet and windy weather conditions, she probably wishes she’d stayed at home and watched the digital live stream version of the event instead!
