Last week, the entire iDODDLE team set out to the streets of Oxford to recruit households to become part of our fast-growing living labs community. Heavy rainfall couldn’t stop us from pursuing our mission! We talked to people on the streets, letter-boxed leaflets and hung up posters in busy locations to draw attention to our project .
Overall, it was a big success. We managed to sign up eight (!) new households on the spot and we are having many more registering through our website who are eager to contribute to iDODDLE’s research throughout the next three years. Our face paintings of iDODDLE’s logo, which were artistically drawn by our PostDoc Mariana and PhD student Poornima, certainly helped to draw people’s attention to our project!
