The iDODDLE Living Lab participants (iDODDLERs) have been engaging throughout the year with Mini Missions to provide the team with detailed qualitative insights on different aspects of digital daily life. The final Mini Mission for 2023 invited iDODDLERs to keep a digital as a record of what, when and how they felt about information they came across relating to AI. We are interested to learn about the different impacts of the media’s attention on generative AI and how it affects people’s attitudes towards risks and benefits of the digital world.
We received 13 scrapbooks full of interesting entries, ranging from podcasts that made the listener worried about misinformation propagating through AI, to personal usage of AI image generation for Christmas gifts being helpful, cool and very impressive.
