Poornima gave a talk on digitalised daily life as part of a session on non-technological innovations at the EDITS (Energy Demand changes Induced by Technological and Social innovations) annual meeting at IIASA, Austria, in October.
She spoke about the indirect impacts of digital technology and service use in households, using participatory systems mapping methods with individuals in Oxford and at the WODIN workshop in May, and her future work using system dynamics modelling to explore digitalisation and rebound scenarios.
The theme of this year’s EDITS annual meeting was “High with Low scenarios towards AR7”.
