The EDITS network’s Decent Living Energy – India working group, of which Poornima Kumar is a part, organised a workshop at the Indian Institute for Technology, Delhi, India in December 2023. The workshop provided a platform for the group to share findings from their multi-model study with a panel of energy demand experts and policymakers, and to understand how insights from such studies could inform energy policy in India. This closed-door session was followed by a public seminar, “Energy and well-being- The Indian case study”, which discussed the relationship between energy and well-being within the context of India drawing from preliminary findings from the multi-model study.
