Poornima Kumar, an iDODDLE PhD student, attended a policy workshop organised by the Energy SHINES project at Cambridge University. The workshop brought together doctoral students working within energy Social Sciences and Humanities, and keynote speakers from industry, governmental, and non-governmental organisations working on energy demand and the UK’s net zero transition. The workshop began with interactive sessions and concluded with breakout groups, where Poornima had the opportunity to learn about the NHS’s plans to understand the climate impacts of its digital healthcare initiatives.
