Back in November, Marcel attended the second edition of the Rhodes Forum on Technology & Society. The annual event convenes people from academia, industry and governmental roles to jointly discuss the wider impacts of technology on society. This year’s event particularly focused on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by taking on different stakeholder perspectives. A special highlight was the attendance of ‘Sophia’, a humanoid robot which engaged with the audience in real-time conversations by harnessing state-of-the-art large-language-models (LLMs).
