Poornima Kumar was a group facilitator for the two-week Summer Sustainability, Climate & Environmental Education (SCENE) programme held by the Smith School, University of Oxford, earlier this month. SCENE brought together 50 youth leaders from the Global South to learn about and deliberate key climate policy issues framed around the G20 in Brazil. The programme covered themes such as net zero, food, economy, business, law, climate compatible growth, and policy, using a mix of expert seminars and group discussions to develop strategies to address key climate challenges in these domains.
