Throwback to November when Marcel Seger was invited to attend the first-ever one-day Startup School Europe Event in London, organised by the highly acclaimed startup accelerator programme Y Combinator. Headquartered in Silicon Valley in San Francisco, YC runs 12-week long programmes with four batches each year to provide the best level of support and mentoring scheme for startups at their very early innings. Former companies that have attended YC include AirBnB, Stripe, Doordash, Dropbox, among many more – they all share in common that their digital services have been adopted by millions of users worldwide since graduating from YC.
The event convened students, founders and builders with technical minds from all across Europe who aspire to launch a company in the foreseeable future. There were several keynote sessions by YC Group Partners and current YC founders held, alongside plenty of opportunities to network with fellow entrepreneurial minds. The day ended with a fireside chat with Paul Graham, Co-Founder of YC.
