Charlie Wilson, Pippa Amanta, and Poornima Kumar from the iDODDLE team organised a two-day symposium in Oxford with 30 invited international researchers to recognise Arnulf Grubler’s scholarly contributions to the field of ‘Technology and Global Change’, linked to a special issue of the journal Environmental Research Letters. The symposium included a dedicated session on digitalisation with fascinating talks by Jon Koomey, Roger Fouquet, Diana Urge-Vorsatz, and Simon De Stercke.
